Linchfield Community Primary (Lincolnshire) – Undertaking a Health Check review, producing a detailed report with recommendations for improvement around SEN, detailed action planning, provision mapping, SENCo management skills, pedagogy, AFL, data analysis, child centred learning and innovative classroom practice.

The production and delivery of staff training on a spectrum of different types of learning needs addressing challenges in the education of children and young people with SEN and other potentially vulnerable groups (e.g. inclusion, differentiation, Dyslexia, moderate learning difficulties, ASD, Attention disorders, behaviour, child protection, person centred planning and Personalised Learning)
SEN Strategy Development
Working to support staff, pupils and parents as well as forming many successful links with outside agencies, the community (staff, governors, church and Local Authority), and more recently local businesses (Dyslexia Action) to develop SEN vision, strategy and implementation plans; these were focused on ensuring that SEN pedagogy, policy and intervention was effective in teaching and learning as well as administration and co-ordination.
Northampton University and South Kesteven Cluster – worked with a variety of SEN specialists and outside agencies to create child centred pupil profiles.
Change Management and CPD
Bourne Westfield (Lincolnshire)– Leading on the triangulation of (i) teaching quality, (ii) ‘next steps marking’, and (iii) pupil feedback to improve outcomes and drive pupil progress for pupils with SEN. Using this approach for staff CPD (Self Review, Mentoring & Coaching), including training.
Kirkstone House School, Malcolm Sargent Primary School (Lincolnshire) – providing a Peer to Peer Review and Exchange Service where schools identify a problem to review and I act as a facilitator.
Local Authority SEN
Working with the local authority showcasing SEN strategies – delivering a presentation to 60 Lincolnshire colleagues.
The production of various policies for schools including: Special Educational Needs, Behaviour, Dyslexia, Inclusion and the Local offer.
